Thank you Henry! I thought it was really a well put together video so wanted to share it with my readers. it is 100% on target and so much in tune with where marketing is going on the internet. You notice that google is paying attention and started google buzz however I feel even they were a few steps behind the great minds of some of the other social sites.
Not sure how Google buzz will do in comparison to the others, time will tell.
Great video and what amazing statistics about the Social Media Revolution. If anyone out there thinks that Social media is a fad they are living in a bubble or have their head buried in the sand. Even though some people do not understand it or feel like it is a bunch of you know what, they have actually been using social media all their life.
How do you think we made our grade school friends or hung out after school with our best friends? It just didn’t happen it was because we built relationships gradually, which built into friendships, which built into groups of friends, etc. Of course we didn’t call this Social Media relationship building we didn’t call it anything it just happened.
It is exactly the same thing that happens to us on Twitter or Facebook. We build relationships gradually with someone because they comment on a tweet or a post on someones blog. The they comment back and presto the relationship starts and if we are fortunate builds into a friendship.
We have all been using social media all our lives and we didn’t even know it but now we can put a catchy phase on it. Social Media has been here since the day we were born and it will continue to be here no matter what name we put on it. It is not a fad and if you think it is just think about how you met your best friend, your wife, etc.
